Massive UAV Attack in Russia: 426 Drones Destroyed
Russia's air defense forces have shot down 426 Ukrainian drones of aircraft type across 16 regions of the country, including Crimea, during the night. This information was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
According to the agency, the drones were intercepted and destroyed between 8:00 PM Moscow time on August 25 and 7:00 AM on August 26.
The drones were taken down in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Kaluga, Tula, Lipetsk, Voronezh, Tambov, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Rostov regions, the Moscow region, Krasnodar Krai, and Crimea.
On the previous day, during daylight hours, an additional 39 Ukrainian drones were reportedly shot down over Russian territories and the Black Sea, according to the Russian side.
