The newspaper 'Hayrapet' reports that due to an unprecedented number of deaths in non-combat conditions, the head of the Military Police, Ashot Zakaryan, was dismissed and replaced by former police chief Aram Hovhannisyan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Minister Suren Papikyan likely believe that the Military Police are primarily responsible for this situation and are the enforcers of order within the army. However, following Hovhannisyan's appointment, two or three incidents have already been recorded, and there has been another casualty in the army.

According to our sources, starting from August 24, Aram Hovhannisyan has begun implementing regulations in the system and has instructed inspections to be conducted in military units. Specifically, he aims to find out whether conscript soldiers possess mobile phones. The new head of the Military Police believes that mobile phones also contribute to the increase in the number of deaths in the army. In one of Minister Papikyan's statements, we noted a similar viewpoint, suggesting that criminals are summoned via phone to resolve non-regulatory relations between soldiers. If there is any truth to this, the situation in the army is even more catastrophic than we think.
