Where is Sedrak Kocharyan Now? Lawyer Provides Details

Sedrak Kocharyan is currently at the "Yerevan-Center" penitentiary, stated lawyer Alexander Kochubaev to ArmeniaSputnik.

"He is presumed to be held in solitary confinement; we will visit him in the evening," he said.

It is noted that the Anti-Corruption Court has decided to arrest Sedrak Kocharyan, the son of former President Robert Kocharyan, for two months.

To recall, both Robert Kocharyan and his eldest son, Sedrak Kocharyan, were taken in by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Law enforcement agencies have conducted searches of several properties belonging to the Kocharyans and sealed off their business premises. The home of MP Levon Kocharyan was also searched.
