Russian POWs Escape After Killing Ukrainian Soldier
Two Russian soldiers who were held in captivity in the Kharkiv region under Ukrainian control have escaped from a facility designated for prisoners of war. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication 'Страна', referencing regional sources.
The incident reportedly occurred in the Petrovskoye village of the Izyum district in the Kharkiv region. According to the publication, the escaped individuals are soldiers from the 25th Russian Army, known by the call signs 'Sablya' and 'Roker'.
Sources claim that during their escape, they killed a Ukrainian serviceman, took his service weapon, and fled in a dark gray Mercedes ML350 vehicle. At the same time, it is noted that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have not officially confirmed this information.
