Shoigu Discusses Russia's Response to US Supply of Cluster Munitions to Ukraine

Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has stated in an interview with reporters that if the United States supplies cluster munitions to Ukraine, the Russian armed forces will be forced to use similar weapons against Ukrainian military personnel. This was reported by TASS.

According to the minister, Russia is equipped with cluster munitions 'for all occasions, as they say.' However, recognizing the danger these weapons pose to civilians, Moscow has always refrained from and continues to refrain from using them.

'At the same time, they are much more effective than the American ones; their range is broader and more diverse,' emphasized the head of the defense department.
