Political Instructions: There Can Be No Second Opinion, Says Levon Kocharyan

"It is yet another political instruction; the case is definitely political, there can be no second opinion," Levon Kocharyan stated to reporters while discussing the events surrounding his father and brother.

"By the way, the circumstances cited in this case are not new. There was a case initiated back in 2018, for absurd reasons, and essentially no new facts have been revealed. In other words, what exists is what has been, nothing was concealed, but it was a political order... It is yet another fabricated case. What happened to me when they entered my home is pure absurdity. The leader of the country stands and says from the highest podium: 'This one needs to be imprisoned, this one needs to be dispossessed.' This absolutely does not fit any democratic principles," said the MP of the 'Hayastan' faction in front of the Anti-Corruption Court.

It is worth noting that the hearing regarding the preventive measures for Sedrak Kocharyan has begun at the Anti-Corruption Court.
