Nare Arakelyan Becomes Vice Champion at European U15 Championship
Young weightlifters continue their streak of successful performances at the European Championship. According to the Weightlifting Federation, Nare Arakelyan, a member of the Armenian national team, achieved three successful lifts in the snatch category at the ongoing European U15 Championship in Kosovo, successfully lifting 90 kg, 95 kg, and 97 kg overhead. In this event, Arakelyan won a gold medal.
In the clean and jerk, Nare lifted 110 kg and 115 kg, finishing in second place in this category. With a combined total of 212 kg, Nare Arakelyan became the vice champion of the U15 Championship.
