Just moments ago, the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, was transferred to the Anti-Corruption Court. This was confirmed to 24News by Anna Grigoryan, the leader of the Armenia faction in the National Assembly, who added that the time for the actual hearing is not yet known.

Previously, it was reported that Robert Kocharyan's health had deteriorated. He has been recorded with high arterial pressure, which prompted a call for an ambulance. For further examination, he was transferred to an appropriate medical facility.

It is worth recalling that the Anti-Corruption Court had made a decision to detain Robert Kocharyan's son, Sedrak Kocharyan, for two months. Both Robert Kocharyan and his elder son, Sedrak Kocharyan, had been taken in by the Anti-Corruption Committee. Law enforcement agencies conducted searches of several properties belonging to the Kocharyans and sealed off business premises. The home of MP Levon Kocharyan was also searched.
