We Hope That Political Processes in Armenia Will Proceed in Accordance with the Law: Peskov
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that Moscow hopes the ongoing political processes in Armenia will be carried out strictly in accordance with the law.
“I would not like to comment on the internal political events in Armenia right now. There are many complex processes taking place there. One can only hope that everything happening will be carried out strictly in accordance with the law, and the rights of all participants in the political process of the republic will be respected,” Peskov told reporters.
This statement came after the arrest of former President of Armenia and leader of the 'Armenia' alliance, Robert Kocharyan.
