FFI Takes Strict Decision Against Armenian Club

On August 21, the Armenian Football Federation's (AFF) disciplinary and ethics committee held its regular meeting, resulting in an unprecedented strict decision against one of the Armenian clubs.

According to the AFF press service, the committee's ruling has expelled the "Hayk" football team from the First Division of the 2026-2027 season.

However, the sanctions do not stop there. According to the decision, the club has also been stripped of the right to participate in all competitions held under the federation's auspices for the current season. Furthermore, "Hayk" will not have the opportunity to return to the First Division and participate in the next season.
