UFC Event Held at the White House Resulted in $30 Million Loss
The UFC Freedom 250 event held near the White House on June 14 caused a $30 million loss for the organizers. TKO Group Holdings, the owner of UFC, informed investors that the profitability of the company significantly declined due to the specifics of the event's execution.
TKO's Chief Financial Officer Andrew Schleimer noted that the organization incurred higher expenses than usual to host the event. Efforts were made to mitigate the losses through partnership agreements. According to him, the impact of the event and the losses were felt in both UFC's and the overall company’s financial metrics.
