National Assembly Approves Government Program for 2026-2031 with Support Only from the CP
The National Assembly of Armenia today, on August 25, approved the government program for 2026-2031. The program was adopted with 63 votes in favor and 24 against. Only the CP faction voted in favor of the program. Following the vote, applause erupted in the chamber.
Subsequently, the parliament moved on to discuss the election of the head of the NA European Integration Committee. It is worth noting that the 'Strong Armenia' faction has nominated Harutyun Harutyunyan for the position of chair of the committee on European integration issues.
