Police to Implement Enhanced Services at the Start of the Academic Year
On August 25, Kamo Tsutsulyan, the Acting Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Chief of Police, held a working consultation. The meeting included heads of four pillar directions and territorial divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Police.
The agenda focused on the organization of police services in preparation for the new academic year. Tsutsulyan instructed to implement enhanced services starting September 1 at educational institutions across the republic and in adjacent areas, involving personnel from all police pillar directions.
According to him, the police should not limit their efforts to merely monitoring the entrances of schools, but also conduct mobile services. Tsutsulyan noted that it is necessary to take appropriate measures to prevent traffic jams, ensure smooth traffic organization, and secure safe movement for minors. Increased oversight in serviced areas was emphasized.
The efficiency of work with minors was also highlighted, focusing on the prevention of possible legal violations involving minors or their participation. Tsutsulyan emphasized the importance of consistently maintaining service discipline and underlined the personal responsibility of police division leaders for the proper organization of service.
At the conclusion of the consultation, Tsutsulyan provided several directives in various areas.
