Armenian Wrestler with Broken Elbow Wins Medal and Raises Flag in Baku
The Ararat Wrestling Club has announced the exceptional willpower and success of athlete Gevorg Harutyunyan in Baku. During a match against an Azerbaijani opponent, Gevorg broke his elbow but continued to fight until the end, ultimately losing due to an unjust decision by the referees. This was reported by the Ararat Wrestling Club.
After this, the athlete, ignoring the pain in his broken elbow, continued to fight for the coveted bronze medal. He achieved victory against the Asian champion from Kazakhstan as well as a Georgian opponent, securing his medal.
