Russian Journalist Actively Covering 44-Day War Dies
Rostislav Zhuravlev, a military correspondent for RIA Novosti, has died near the village of Pyatikhatki during Ukrainian shelling.
Additionally, Konstantin Mikhalchevsky, a photojournalist for RIA Novosti, Roman Polshakov, a correspondent for Izvestia, and operator Dmitry Shikov from the television channel were also injured. All the victims sustained shrapnel wounds.
Journalists from TASS and VGTRK also came under fire.
Zhuravlev was actively covering the 44-day war.
