Images: A Car Caught Fire on the Kapan-Tatev Highway, Injured Reported
On July 22, at 1:42 PM, the crisis management center of the Syunik regional rescue service received a report that a car was burning on the 38th kilometer of the Kapan-Tatev highway.
A firefighting unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained at 3:08 PM and extinguished at 3:17 PM. A "Mazda" vehicle (driver: M. H. A., a citizen of Iran) was engulfed in flames.
The driver and a passenger M. A. (also a citizen of Iran) were hospitalized at the Kapan city hospital, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
