Is There a Liquefied Gas Shortage?
Auroranews has received numerous reports of a liquefied gas shortage at filling stations. Meanwhile, the price of liquefied gas has gradually increased, reaching up to 280 drams.
Auroranews contacted companies that import liquefied gas, who confirmed that there is indeed a current shortage. At a government meeting, Gegham Gevorgyan, the Chairman of the Commission on Protection of Economic Competition and Consumer Interests, stated that the rise in liquefied gas prices in December is mainly due to issues with transport hubs, particularly difficulties related to the Lars crossing point, which have led to increased transportation costs.
