Putin Holds Operational Consultation with Permanent Members of Russia's Security Council

Russian President Vladimir Putin held an operational consultation with the permanent members of the Security Council of Russia on August 7. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The previous meeting of the Security Council took place on July 23, where the topics discussed included the provision of materials and raw materials necessary for the serial production of prospective samples of armaments.

Putin noted that Russia is one of the few countries in the world capable of independently producing the materials and raw materials necessary for the serial production of new samples of armaments and the modernization of existing weapons.
