Gavi Dyeing His Hair Pink in Honor of Spain's Victory at the 2026 World Cup

Barcelona and Spain national team midfielder Gavi has changed his style by fulfilling a promise made during the 2026 World Cup. The 22-year-old Spaniard has dyed his hair pink and posted a photo with his new look on social media.

"A man of his word," the footballer captioned the photo.

The Spain national team has become world champion for the second time in its history, defeating Argentina 1-0 in extra time during the 2026 World Cup final. The only goal of the match was scored by Ferran Torres in the 106th minute.

Gavi participated in two matches in the tournament but did not score any goals or provide assists.

Earlier, Spain national team defender Marc Cucurella also fulfilled his promise by getting a tattoo of the team's head coach Luis de la Fuente.

Gavi's Barcelona teammates Pedri and Lamine Yamal had also made public promises: Pedri promised to dye his hair blonde, while Yamal promised to grow a beard.
