29-Year-Old Employee Dies After Being Buried Under Trash by Tractor at Nubarashen Landfill

On August 6, around 16:50, an employee was pulled from underneath a pile of trash at the Nubarashen landfill in Yerevan and was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he died en route.

According to Shamshyan.com, while the tractor was moving trash at the landfill, it caused a pile of waste to fall on the employee. Rescue workers and landfill staff conducted a search and managed to locate the victim with great difficulty. They eventually extracted him and brought him to an ambulance.

Medical personnel administered aid on site before transporting him to the hospital; however, he did not regain consciousness and passed away on the way.
