Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan Sign Defense Agreement

Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan have signed a trilateral agreement in the fields of security and defense in Jeddah. This was reported by Anadolu, referencing sources in the security sector.

On August 7, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a one-day visit to Saudi Arabia, where he held meetings with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

The details of the trilateral agreement have not yet been disclosed.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have collaborated for many years in economic and defense sectors. In September 2025, the parties signed a strategic mutual defense agreement stipulating that aggression against one party is regarded as aggression against both.
