Tragic Car Accident in Ararat Region: One Fatality and Injuries
On July 23, at 10:36 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Regional Rescue Department of Ararat received a call regarding a traffic accident in the village of P'k'vor Vedi, where there were casualties. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that a "VAZ 2107" vehicle, driven by R.H. (born in 1960), veered off the road and overturned near the 35th kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, close to the village of T'aperakan. Driver R.H. died on the spot.
Rescuers provided assistance to passengers G.M. (born in 1960) and Y.V. (born in 1962), transporting them by ambulance. The injured were hospitalized at Artashat Medical Center and later transferred to Erebuni Medical Center in Yerevan.
Rescue teams disconnected and sealed the gas tank valve of the vehicle and brought the driver’s body to a transport vehicle for transfer.
