Large Fire Breaks Out Near Silikian Neighborhood in Yerevan

Today, on August 6, a large fire broke out in Yerevan. Around 21:10, the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a report that a fire had erupted in a landfill located in the area known as the 3rd village in the Silikian neighborhood, as reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan.

Two fire and rescue teams from Yerevan have arrived at the scene. The flames and smoke are visible from several kilometers away. Currently, firefighters are working to combat the spread of the fire.
