If Democrats Come to Power, I Could Be the Last Republican President - Trump

US President Donald Trump has stated that if the Democrats return to power, he could become the last Republican president of the United States. He simultaneously emphasized that the US should not allow China to take a leading position in artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency.

Speaking about his voter base, Trump noted that many of his supporters are dissatisfied with the Republican Party but continue to support him personally. “If I don’t run, will these people go vote? I can’t say for sure. Many of them are angry at the Republicans, to be honest. They are angry at the Republicans, but not at me,” said the US president.

He also expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of Republicans in the Senate. “If the Democrats come to power, I could be the last Republican president. If the Senate doesn’t wake up, I could be the last Republican president,” Trump declared.

During the same speech, the US president addressed technological competition with China, highlighting artificial intelligence and cryptocurrencies. According to Trump, Washington does not want to allow Beijing to dominate in these areas. “We do not want China to seize the cryptocurrency sector. I do not want to see China winning in artificial intelligence,” he said.

The US president noted that the use of cryptocurrencies is increasing, with people making more payments in Bitcoin. He assessed that this could reduce the burden on the dollar and be beneficial for the United States. Regarding artificial intelligence, Trump insisted that the US is ahead of China in this field while also emphasizing the strategic importance of technology. “Whoever wins in artificial intelligence will win everything. It is many times bigger than the internet. It will be greater than anyone can imagine,” Trump stated.
