Illegal Water Extraction Discovered in Lori: Activities of Fish Farm Suspended
The employees of the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Soil Inspection have discovered illegal water extraction from surface water resources in the administrative area of Shenavan community in Lori province.
A citizen engaged in fish farming, M.D., had been securing the necessary water for the fish farm from the flowing Shenavan river in the adjacent area without having the water usage permit issued according to the established procedure by the authorized body.
By the decision of the head of the Lori territorial division, the activities of the fish farm have been suspended, and the plastic pipelines carrying water into the fish farm have been sealed.
