Armenia Among Top Countries Receiving Funds from Georgia
According to the National Bank of Georgia, in July 2026, a total of $39 million was transferred from Georgia abroad, compared to $37.3 million in the same month of 2025. Azerbaijan ranks first in the volume of transfers abroad this year with $6.985 million.
Turkey follows in second place with $6.435 million, while Russia is in third place with $3.663 million. Other countries in the top ten include Ukraine with $2.436 million, Uzbekistan with $2.430 million, Greece with $2.247 million, Kazakhstan with $1.916 million, Italy with $1.395 million, Germany with $1.168 million, and Armenia with $1.029 million.
At the same time, in July, a total of $350.05 million was transferred to Georgia from abroad, which is an increase of 3.9% compared to the same month last year.
