Flight Restrictions Imposed at Several Airports in Russia
On the night of August 19, temporary restrictions were imposed on the arrival and departure of aircraft at several airports in Russia. This was reported by Rosaviatsiya.
Restrictions were in place at the airports of Orenburg, Ufa, Bugulma, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga, and Saratov, as well as Moscow's Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports.
Later, Rosaviatsiya announced that the restrictions at Domodedovo, Zhukovsky, and Saratov airports have been lifted, and flight operations have resumed. At the same time, restrictions continue to apply at the airports of Orenburg, Ufa, Bugulma, Ivanovo, Yaroslavl, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, and Kaluga.
According to Rosaviatsiya, Moscow's Vnukovo Airport is operating in a coordinated mode with the relevant authorities.
