Complete Evacuation of Customs Personnel at Upper Lars

At the "Dariali" customs checkpoint in Upper Lars, located on the Georgia-Russia border, an automatic early warning system for natural disasters has been activated. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.

In accordance with safety regulations, the entire customs personnel, including border guards, customs officers, and other staff, have been evacuated immediately.

As a preventive measure, all types of vehicular traffic in both directions have been completely halted near the village of Gveleti.

Earlier, meteorologists had warned of a significant deterioration in weather conditions in Georgia from August 13 to 15, with the possibility of natural disasters.
