Citizens Obstructed from Voting for the 'Armenia' Alliance, Investigative Committee Reports
The investigation department of the Loreh regional division of the RA Investigative Committee has obtained apparent factual data during the preliminary investigation of a criminal case regarding K.A., who allegedly obstructed two citizens in the village of Shirakamut from exercising their electoral rights in connection with voting for the 'Armenia' alliance during the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026.
As part of the criminal proceedings, public criminal prosecution has been initiated against K.A. by the supervising prosecutor's decision under the first part of Article 210 of the Criminal Code (obstruction of the realization of rights or duties of participants in the elections). The criminal case against K.A. has been sent to the supervising prosecutor with an accusatory conclusion for confirmation and a motion to forward it to court for examination.
