At Least 76 Drones Destroyed in Several Regions of Russia Overnight
On the night of August 19, air defense forces destroyed dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in several regions of Russia. Local authorities reported this information.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin stated that a total of 21 UAVs flying towards the capital were destroyed. Emergency service specialists are working at the sites where the drone debris has fallen.
Tula region governor Dmitry Milyaev reported that 27 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed during the night in the region. According to him, there were no casualties or damages.
In Rostov region, about 15 UAVs were destroyed overnight. Governor Yuri Slyusari noted that the drones were shot down in five districts of the region: Kasharsky, Milevsky, Chertkovsky, Sholohovsky, and Kamensky.
Meanwhile, Sevastopol leader Mikhail Razvozhayev reported two attacks during the night, stating that 13 Ukrainian UAVs were neutralized. Following the drone attacks in Balaklava, two grass fires were recorded, but there were no casualties.
