Crane Falls in Nor Hajn: Casualties Reported

On August 18, at 14:44, the Kotayk provincial emergency management center received a report that during construction work in the city of Nor Hajn, a crane had detached and fallen, trapping a citizen underneath. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Emergency teams from the special rescue operations center and a firefighting unit from the provincial rescue department were dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, there are two fatalities and one person has sustained injuries. It has been revealed that during construction work, while raising the basket, the crane's cable broke, causing the basket to fall," the statement said.
