Iran has responded to U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent posting on the image of the Strait of Hormuz, along with the caption claiming that this crucial waterway belongs to the United States. This was stated by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Qaribabadi.

“Soon either his misconception regarding Hormuz will be corrected, or we will correct this man's misconceptions ourselves, who lives in illusions,” Qaribabadi wrote on social media.

It should be noted that U.S. President Donald Trump published an image of a map of the Strait of Hormuz on his Truth Social account, captioning it “New U.S. Territory.” The map shared by Trump encircles the Strait of Hormuz, which lies between Iran and Oman, and the caption “New U.S. Territory” is displayed in English at the top of the image.
