In the map released by Trump, the Hormuz Strait, located between Iran and Oman, is circled, with the phrase "New U.S. Territory" prominently displayed above the image.

It is noteworthy that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi on Monday, according to Anadolu Agency. The ministers discussed the latest developments regarding the restoration of navigation through the Hormuz Strait and ongoing negotiations for maintaining a ceasefire. During the conversation, the primary focus was on the current state of negotiations concerning these two issues, sources added.
