Police Chief Discusses Drivers Without Licenses
There has been an increase in the number of cases of individuals driving vehicles without a license or whose driving privileges have been suspended, showing an increase of 3,231 cases or 74.4%. This information was announced by Kamo Tsutsulyan, Chief of the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a press conference summarizing the first half of 2026.
“In 2025, there were 4,343 such cases recorded, while in 2026, the number rose to 7,574,” Tsutsulyan noted. It is also worth mentioning that the number of recorded crimes in Armenia during the first six months of 2026 has decreased by 65 cases or 0.3% compared to the same period last year.
