How Citizens Evaluate the Work of the Police: New Indicators Released
According to the International Republican Institute's research from May 2026, public trust in the police has increased. During a press conference, Acting Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Mkrtchyan stated that 68% of survey participants expressed full or mostly satisfaction with the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs police.
He noted, “This year, a public survey has also been conducted by OSCE partners, and among other questions, 74.6% of respondents have confidence in or hold a neutral position toward the police's activities.”
Additionally, Armen Mkrtchyan conveyed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has, for the first time, been included in the list of Armenia's 50 best employers.
