Health Ministry Provides Details on Issue in Byureghavan
In recent days, numerous citizens in Byureghavan have called for emergency medical services reporting symptoms such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, and fever. Within a few hours, the number of calls with the same symptoms reached 30. The municipality issued a statement urging residents to either refrain from using water or to use boiled water.
Regarding the situation in Byureghavan, the Health Ministry stated to 1lurer.am that currently, five citizens have been hospitalized. “We have received emergency calls due to general weakness, vomiting, and fever. Epidemiological research and sampling have been carried out immediately by our specialists from the health emergencies department. The process is ongoing, and we will inform you about the results. We do not have severe cases. Five citizens have been hospitalized in satisfactory and moderate health condition,” the Health Ministry reported.
It is worth reminding that earlier, Auroranews.am received numerous alerts from citizens in Byureghavan, Kotayk Province. According to residents, there is a serious issue with drinking water, as they claim that sewage pipes have burst, leading to contamination of the drinking water.
