We Are Not Taking Any Steps to Deteriorate Relations with Russia: Rubinyan
We are not taking any steps to deteriorate relations with Russia. This was stated by the President of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, during a conversation with reporters.
"On the contrary, we have done everything and continue to do everything to maintain brotherly, friendly relations," said the NA president, referring to the statement made by the Chairman of the State Duma of Russia, Vyacheslav Volodin, who called on Armenia to stop its 'hypocritical and cynical' political stance and to clearly choose between the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
In this context, he emphasized that the unnecessary and unfair restrictions imposed on Armenian entrepreneurs do not correspond to the spirit of Russia-Armenia relations or, even more so, to the rules of the EAEU, as the entire essence of this union is the free movement of goods.
