The Chairman of the National Assembly, Ruben Rubinyan, signed a decision on August 21, which approved the composition of the temporary committee of the National Assembly concerning parliamentary ethics. The decision is published on the National Assembly's website.

The chairman of the ethics committee is Maria Karapetyan, a member of the "Civil Contract" faction, while the deputy chairman is Lianna Gasparyan from the "Strong Armenia" faction. Members include from the ruling faction Zara Batoyan, Mariam Poghosyan, Arman Yeghoyan, Vilen Gabrielian, and from the "Strong Armenia" faction, Mamikon Aslanyan and Harutyun Harutyunyan, with Agvan Vardanyan and Lilit Galstyan from the "Armenia" alliance.

Substitute members for the "Civil Contract" faction are Tigran Galstyan, Sargis Khandanyan, Sisak Gabrielian, Arusy Agjulyakyan, and Alkhaz Gharazyan, while for the "Strong Armenia" faction they are Davit Ghazinyan, Arek Hovsepyan, Hayk Farmanyan, and from the "Armenia" faction, Gegham Manukyan and Artur Khachatryan.

It is noteworthy that following an incident with journalists in Gyumri, Vilen Gabrielian, who is included in the committee, resigned from his mandate as a deputy of the 8th Convocation of the National Assembly. In his statement, he noted, “I consider the incidents involving my participation in the city of Gyumri as inappropriate behavior for a deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. A deputy must not exhibit improper conduct in their mission.”
