Russia Responds to Zelensky's Statement
The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, Kirill Dmitriev, has commented on the recent statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Dmitriev reacted to a publication by the British Daily Mail, which presented Zelensky's view on the issue of the UK potentially returning to the European Union in the event of the United States possibly withdrawing from NATO.
In a post on the X social media platform, Dmitriev noted that Zelensky's statements pertain to the topic of the UK's membership in the European Union. At the same time, the Russian official emphasized that, in his opinion, the Ukrainian president should prioritize the process of achieving peace in Ukraine, considering it the most important direction in the current situation.
