A Travel Ban Imposed on Serzh Sargsyan: Anti-Corruption Committee

The third President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has been subjected to a travel ban as a preventive measure. This information was provided to AuroraNews by the Anti-Corruption Committee.

It is noteworthy that yesterday, Sargsyan was also summoned by the Anti-Corruption Committee in connection with the case of Robert Kocharyan. Earlier, we reported that the Anti-Corruption Committee had informed us that among the six individuals arrested the day before in relation to a criminal investigation involving large-scale money laundering, abuse of official powers, and bribery on a large scale, preventive measures such as incarceration were applied to four of them, including the former president's son. For one of the accused, house arrest was imposed as a preventive measure.
