International Train Services on Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan Route Canceled
Due to adverse weather conditions and the formation of landslides on roads and railway tracks, international train services on the Yerevan-Tbilisi-Yerevan route will be canceled starting May 26, 2024. This decision is linked to repair and restoration work being carried out in the Ayrium-Akhtala section to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster, as reported by the South Caucasus Railway Company.
Regarding ticket refunds, passengers who purchased tickets online can return them using the same online purchasing platform. For those who bought tickets at ticket counters, refunds will be processed at the same counters.
It is worth noting that the overflowing waters of the Debed River have breached their banks this night, causing damage to the M-6 interstate road, resulting in a complete closure of the road for traffic in both directions.
