Knyaz Iboyan Defeats Azerbaijani Opponent and Advances to Semifinals at U23 European Wrestling Championship
In the ongoing U23 European Wrestling Championship in Bucharest, Romania, Armenia's Knyaz Iboyan defeated his Azerbaijani opponent and advanced to the semifinals. This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Wrestling Federation.
Edik Harutyunyan (57 kg) won in the consolation match and will compete for the bronze medal against Azerbaijan's Novruzov. Narek Grigoryan (79 kg) will also fight for the bronze medal against Amirazlanov from Azerbaijan. Mejlun Mejlumyan continues his participation in the tournament, having won his opening match. Sergey Sargsyan lost in his opening match to a Georgian wrestler.
