Russian Aircraft Damaged in Belarus Airport Explosion
Explosions occurred at the Machulishchy military airport, located 12 kilometers from Minsk. According to the Russian service of "Radiotime," an A-50 type radar surveillance aircraft has been damaged. It is suspected that the airport was attacked by drones.
Russia possesses nine such aircraft, which are used for tracking missiles launched towards targets in Ukraine. The Belarusian Ministry of Defense has assured that "nothing serious has happened at Machulishchy." Neither Russia nor Ukraine has commented on the February 26 incident at the airport.
