Fighting Intensifies in the Vicinity of Shushi - Tigran Abrahamyan

“Following the Azerbaijani attack and the death of three police officers from Artsakh, several hours of fighting with varying intensity have occurred in the vicinity of Shushi. According to reports, in addition to small arms, grenade launchers and mortars have been used. As a result of the operations by the corresponding units of Artsakh, the bodies of Azerbaijani saboteurs have also been observed. Control over the mentioned area is critically important, and it is not excluded that Azerbaijan attempted to secure advantageous positions for a tactical advance, while Artsakh police officers found themselves in the line of fire and engaged in the first confrontation.”
