Father Kills His 18-Year-Old Stepson and Hides Body in Car for Several Days

A man in the city of Ustyug, Russia, is suspected of murdering his 18-year-old stepson. This information has been reported by the Investigative Committee's press service.

The young man's mother contacted the police, stating that her son had not returned home for several days and had ceased to make contact. During the investigation, law enforcement authorities suspected the woman's husband in connection with the young man's disappearance.

During questioning, the man confessed to the murder. Investigators discovered traces of blood in the apartment, and the young man's body was found in the stepfather's car.

According to the preliminary version, the man killed his stepson after being left alone with him, hid the body in the car, cleaned up the blood in the apartment, and did not inform his wife about the incident. Currently, the man has been taken into custody.

A criminal case has been initiated against him.
