The CP Accepts Amendments to Government Structure in First Reading

The ruling Civil Contract faction in the National Assembly has approved the bill amending the law on the structure and activities of the government by a majority of votes.

The bill was passed under a special procedure with the same number of votes from the CP members within 24 hours. During the session, Ruben Rubinyan, who chaired the meeting, announced that according to the rules, the session will continue three hours later at 19:15 to discuss any written proposals before the second reading, if such proposals exist.
