Garegin II Prepares for a New Revolution: Pashinyan

Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians Garegin II, whom Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan continues to refer to as Ktrich Nersisyan, is preparing for a new revolution. Pashinyan announced this during a briefing with reporters.

“Ktrich Nersisyan has sent delegations to various villages and settlements to initiate a new revolution. We escaped from the Bagratid revolution, and now we face Ktrich's revolution,” Pashinyan stated.

AuroraNews has attempted to contact Father Yesayi Khamparyan, the director of the information system of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, to clarify whether the Patriarch is sending delegations to different villages and settlements, and if so, for what purpose. We will publish any comments we receive.

As a reminder, the “Bagratid revolution” mentioned by Pashinyan refers to the “Tavush for the Homeland” movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, which began in Tavush in 2024 and reached Yerevan with demands for Pashinyan's resignation.

During the same briefing, Pashinyan also discussed the possibility of a revolution, this time referring to the second and third presidents of Armenia, Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan, as well as Gagik Tsarukyan and Samvel Karapetyan.
“I have said that the citizens of Armenia can initiate a revolution. For the sake of the honorable merit of Gagik Tsarukyan and Robert Kocharian, let them come, remove us, and bring their beloved and noble Gagik Tsarukyan, Robert Kocharian, Samvel Karapetyan, and Serzh Sargsyan,” he said.
