The World Is Not Ready: Bill Gates Warns of AI Era Dangers

Microsoft founder Bill Gates has addressed the rapid development of artificial intelligence, warning that this transitional period could become one of the most unstable times in human history.

According to Gates, there is currently no clear plan on how to mitigate the social and economic impacts of AI. He has highlighted several key dangers, including job losses, an increase in biological threats and cyberattacks, as well as a potential decline in critical thinking among individuals.

Primarily, Gates points out that AI may replace a number of roles in sales, customer service, programming, and law. In the future, as the cost of robots decreases, physical labor jobs might also be at risk.

At the same time, Gates has emphasized the immense positive potential of AI. To reduce risks, he suggests strengthening AI oversight, reserving certain jobs exclusively for humans, and discussing the possibility of taxing AI systems and robots.
