«Strong Armenia» Condemns Actions Against Robert Kocharian and His Family
«Strong Armenia» faction has issued a statement regarding the legal proceedings against the second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharian, and his family members. The faction characterized these actions as «new manifestations of political persecution», asserting that direct instructions from the authorities are infiltrating the legal processes.
«This is not just a problem for an individual or a family, but a manner of operation that undermines the independence of state institutions,» the statement reads.
«Strong Armenia» also strongly condemned any direct or indirect interference by the executive branch in judicial and law enforcement processes. «The rule of law begins where justice is ensured not by orders of the authorities, but as an independent guarantor of law and fairness,» the faction noted.
