The Cause of the Bus Fire on the Kiev Bridge is Known
At around 8:30 AM, a fire broke out in a vehicle serving route number 52 on the Kiev Bridge due to a malfunction of the turbocharger. The engine's fire suppression automatic system was activated.
Passengers were safely evacuated to a secure distance. The fire was extinguished by the driver and a security officer in about 3 to 5 minutes.
